Review Shakhahaari

Shakhahaari

Two things about this movie: it's fantastic, especially since I believe the director is a first-timer. Kudos to him for doing a wonderful job telling the story. Secondly, I did not see the plot twist coming. Let me know in the comments if you liked this movie and if you saw this plot twist coming."Shakhahaari" is a murder mystery that follows a fugitive who has recently been injured during a prison escape. While looking for a place to shelter and heal his wound, he comes upon the house of a local chef.

Initially hesitant, the chef eventually agrees to take the fugitive in after hearing his story. Now you may be wondering where the murder come into The movie opens with a scene of the chef chopping up a body, and the rest of the movie leads up to that point and explores everything that happens afterward.

If you've heard anything about this film, you've probably heard about Rangayana Raghu's performance. In this movie, he is given a role that really showcases the wide range of acting skills he possesses. Stepping away from his usual comedic roles, he takes on a very serious character, and it was very refreshing to see that. For the longest time, he has been typecast as a comedic actor. I think as an audience, we have to thank this film for showing us his true range as an actor. I hope in his forthcoming movies, we will be able to see him in a wide variety of characters because after this film, I feel like he definitely has the range to portray any character.

This movie may be slow, but it's well-paced and immersive. You won't even notice the time passing as you get to know the village and its characters. If you're looking for a great film to watch this week, I highly recommend this one. I promise you won't regret it.
