Murphy: A Time Travel Love Story - Kannada Movie Review
The first time I came across anything related to this movie was through a music video featuring the song "Mogachi." This song is the quintessential upbeat track that I knew would be used for the movie's marketing, and indeed it was. Watching this video made me excited for the film, especially since it starred a cast of actors with whom I wasn't familiar. I love seeing new faces in the industry, so I quickly checked out the summary and learned that it was a time travel movie, which instantly locked me in.

Laughing Buddha (2024) Kannada Movie Review – Lighthearted Fun or Forgettable?
"Laughing Buddha," starring Premod Shetty, is a film that follows a small-town constable whose perfect life seemingly gets turned upside down. The doctor diagnoses his wife with burnout, a viral YouTube video where he is being made fun of for being a police officer who isn’t fit. And To top it all off, due to an incident at the police station—which he had nothing to do with—he has to take a criminal home and get him to confess to his crimes. Will our constable ever get fit enough, and will he get the criminal to confess? This is what the rest of the film explores.

New Faces and Interesting Stories - KFI 2024
2024 was an interesting year for the Kannada film industry. While it wasn't a year of big blockbusters, it was a year of firsts. We saw many first-time directors releasing amazing movies in genres that are not usually explored in Kannada cinema.

Review of Ramana Avatara
This Movie is just okay, and God, do I feel terrible saying that. Rishi's portrayal of the character is a standout. His performance in this film is a testament to his talent, but the script could have used a little help. It's a missed opportunity because this film is a modern-day comic retelling of Ramayana.
The love between a nanny and a child is a complicated relationship that is often undervalued or overlooked due to the monetary aspect involved. But does that mean the nanny doesn’t love the child, or that they don’t share a genuine relationship? These are some of the questions posed by “Petals,” a kannada short film by Sharath Raysad. The film follows Ajji, a nanny who has cared for a little boy named Ayush since he was a baby and considers him her own. On her last day as his nanny, we witness her struggle to come to terms with this ending while trying to give Ayush the best farewell possible.
