Review of Colors
"Colors" is a 7-part Kannada mini-series that is now available on Rishab Shetty's YouTube channel. The series follows Shashi, a delivery boy who is color blind. His color blindness doesn't bother him much until he meets Nayana, a salesperson at the store he delivers to, whom he secretly has a crush on. One day, she takes him to a flower market and tells him about the rich colors. The rest of the series follows their exploration of color blindness and how they grow closer.
Review of Juni
I recently watched the Kannada movie Juni on Amazon Prime Videos, and I have some thoughts . This is a romantic drama that revolves around Partha, a chef who runs an unsuccessful cafe, and Juni, an artist, fashion designer, and gym instructor. The two meet one day at Partha's cafe and quickly hit it off. They plan to meet for a date, but Juni doesn't show up. Curious about her absence, Partha visits Juni's house, where he discovers that she has multiple personality disorders.
Review Shakhahaari
Two things about this movie: it's fantastic, especially since I believe the director is a first-timer. Kudos to him for doing a wonderful job telling the story. Secondly, I did not see the plot twist coming. Let me know in the comments if you liked this movie and if you saw this plot twist coming."
Review of Ramana Avatara
This Movie is just okay, and God, do I feel terrible saying that. Rishi's portrayal of the character is a standout. His performance in this film is a testament to his talent, but the script could have used a little help. It's a missed opportunity because this film is a modern-day comic retelling of Ramayana.
Review of Lineman
One thing about me is all it takes for me to want to see this movie is a good movie poster. And I saw this poster and I instantly wanted to see it, and I am so glad I did because this is such a heartwarming movie. It left me smiling at the end. This movie is the directed and written by Raghu Shastry, a talented filmmaker who previously brought us the delightful 'Run Anthony '.
The love between a nanny and a child is a complicated relationship that is often undervalued or overlooked due to the monetary aspect involved. But does that mean the nanny doesn’t love the child, or that they don’t share a genuine relationship? These are some of the questions posed by “Petals,” a kannada short film by Sharath Raysad. The film follows Ajji, a nanny who has cared for a little boy named Ayush since he was a baby and considers him her own. On her last day as his nanny, we witness her struggle to come to terms with this ending while trying to give Ayush the best farewell possible.
